The problem with taking a course on quantum mechanics is that every class delves into the finer workings of energy and matter on the smallest scales known to the universe whereupon we learn that everything you think you know is really just so uncertain and barely tangible. So it’s just hard to walk out of an hour lecture and focus on the more macroscopic elements of life such as finding me work after the prof says his job is to think all day about things that don’t actually exist.
